What is jung gu?

Jung-gu is a district in the heart of Seoul, South Korea. It covers a total area of 4.66 square kilometers and has a population of around 142,000 people.

Jung-gu is home to many of Seoul's most iconic landmarks and tourist destinations, including the historic Gyeongbokgung Palace, the bustling Myeong-dong shopping district, and the famous Namsan Tower.
